Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, goal oriented individual to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will directly participate with purification procedure in the production of pharmaceutical products. The position requires the ability to manipulate crude cell culture material with standard, established chromatography procedures to purify therapeutic proteins. All operations will be preformed in a cGMP compliant environment with supporting procedures. The candidate will need to have prior experience with these functions.
This position requires a high degree of flexibility and good communication skills to bridge the information gaps between operations and senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily purification operations to successfully generate pharmaceutical materials. Prior knowledge and experience in downstream process (filtration, chromatography, UF/DF, etc.) is required.
- Understand and comply with all cGMP guidelines to achieve quality standards.
- Constant input into process development.
- Ability to execute multiple projects and prioritize as needed.
- Support cross-functional groups when needed.
- Support maintenance and calibration activities as specified.
- Participate in meeting with senior management.
Education, knowledge, and Skills:
Candidate should minimally possess a BS/BA degree in a related biological field. A minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience in a compliant cGMP environment is desired. Proficiency with basic computer programs is required (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc.).
